Margaret lives on a ranch near Glen Rose, TX. Originally hailing from a small ranching community in NW Col., she has been around horses most of her life. After retiring from the pharmaceutical industry, she devoted herself to sculpting. She studied under master sculptors at Scottsdale Artist's School and other places. She works with both water and oil-based clays, and creates realistic figures of the athletic human form, horses and other animals. Her work has been accepted into juried competitions such as Little Rock's "Sculpture at the Rivermarket", Loveland's Sculpture in the Park, the Bosque Art Classic, the Mountain Oyster Show, Breckenridge Fine Arts Show, and the Art Center of Estes Park show. In 2016, OHITIKA won Best of Show at the Breckenridge Fine Art Show.
She is an Associate member of The National Sculpture Society, The Western Associates, and a member of Texas Artists' Coalition.
